VERO were appointed by Edge Design to prepare design proposals for a luxury beach front apartment tower located on JBR in Dubai. The tower occupies a plot of land in a premium location on JBR adjacent to the Ritz Carlton hotel complete with it’s own private beach.

The landscape is very minimal and reflects the contemporary architecture and character of the project as a whole. A series of different levels form the transition between the ground floor tower level and the beach. These levels contain a series of elements such as a very large pool, play areas and informal garden and planting areas.

The landscape was designed to complement the building and form a green buffer between the beach and the tower. The level transition between the upper and lower levels is cleverly hidden by the planting design and minimal exposed retaining walls are visible.
