VERO were commissioned to prepare design proposals for Phase 1 and 2 of the Foremarke School in Dubai.

Proposals included outdoor play and learning courtyards to the foundation block conceived as a series of connected spaces which provide an extension to the classrooms with garden areas set aside for students to sow and grow their own plants as part of the curriculum.

The primary school includes formal outdoor sports and recreation spaces with a multi-use sports pitch, play area and external pool. Clustered seating set amongst trees provides informal space for students to congregate at break times with natural shading, complementing the shaded walkways to the perimeter of the sports pitch.
