VERO were commissioned to develop a landscape masterplan that integrates the development within its rural context and creates a recreational resource for workers and visitors as well as responding to the hydrological requirements of the site with swales and attenuation ponds for collecting winter snow melt and mountain rain water run off for reuse in food production.

Locally available plant species were sourced for the development that would be tolerant of the harsh winters and hot summers. Large swathes of seasonal bulbs for spring and summer flowering were introduced at the entry to the site as a reference to local tulip bulbs which offer visual relief after the harsh winters.
