Design for five star themed and branded Hotel and Residential project located within the Business Bay / Downtown District of Dubai. An organic concept and design language developed to incorporate a variety of functions and guests in one combined podium level.

The podium is separated into two main zones one being for hotel guests the other for apartment residents. However, the sinuous design creates the impression of a single ‘garden or park’ landscape treatment when viewed from the towers, subtly the podium is divided into distinct zones which are segregated through a combination of level changes, terraces, planting and water bodies to obscure the separation between hotel guests and apartment residents.

The organic concept was created as a sinuous and flowing design with curving paths and terraces used to create the illusion of a larger space than actually exists. The design incorporates lounger terraces around the pools with intimate seating areas as places to discover set within a dense planting structure across the shared podium space.
